TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. INTRODUCTION

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of services by Skills Career Path Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) to any individual or entity (“Client”, “you”).
By accessing our website, engaging our services, or entering into any form of agreement (written, electronic, or verbal), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not accept these Terms, you must refrain from using our services.

2. NATURE OF SERVICES

The Company provides independent educational consultancy and career support services, which may include:

  • academic and course guidance

  • support with applications to educational institutions

  • assistance with preparation of supporting documentation

  • mentoring, consultations, and workshops

  • general guidance related to study and career pathways

All services are advisory in nature and tailored to the Client’s individual circumstances.

3. NO REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE

The Company does not act as a decision-making authority and does not guarantee:

  • admission to any educational institution

  • eligibility for funding or financial support

  • visa approval or immigration outcomes

  • academic success or employment outcomes

All final decisions are made exclusively by third-party institutions, authorities, or organisations.

4. CLIENT DECLARATIONS

By engaging our services, you confirm that:

  • all information provided is accurate, complete, and not misleading

  • you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

  • where acting on behalf of another individual or entity, you are duly authorised to do so

The Company shall not be liable for any consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client.

5. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS

The Client agrees to:

  • provide all requested documentation within specified timeframe

  • maintain active communication throughout the service perio

  • follow reasonable instructions and guidance provided by the Company

  • ensure that any third-party consents (e.g. personal data permissions) are obtained where required

Failure to comply may result in delays, suspension, or termination of services.

6. FEES AND PAYMENT TERMS

Fees for services will be agreed in advance and may vary depending on the scope of support.

  • Unless otherwise agreed:

  • invoices are payable within 7 days of issue

  • services may be suspended in the event of non-payment

  • all payments are non-refundable once services have commenced, except where required by law

Fees do not include third-party costs such as:

  • university application fees

  • translation services

  • examination fees

  • tuition fees or accommodation

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for:

  • decisions made by universities, funding bodies, or government authorities

  • changes in law, policy, or regulatory frameworks

  • delays or failures caused by third parties

  • indirect or consequential losses

The Company’s liability, where applicable, shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the relevant service.

8. DATA PROTECTION

The Company processes personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws, including:

  • UK GDPR

  • Data Protection Act 2018

Personal data is collected and processed solely for the purpose of delivering services and may be shared with:

  • educational institutions

  • partner organisations

  • service providers involved in the application process

Clients have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of their personal data.

9. CONFIDENTIALITY

All information exchanged between the Company and the Client shall be treated as confidential, unless:

  • disclosure is required by law

  • disclosure is necessary for the performance of services

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All materials, content, methodologies, and documentation provided by the Company remain its exclusive intellectual property.
The Client may use such materials solely for personal use in connection with the services and may not reproduce, distribute, or share them without prior written consent.

11. TERMINATION

The Company reserves the right to terminate services with immediate effect where:

  • the Client breaches these Terms

  • the Client fails to make payment

  • continued provision of services is no longer reasonably possible

The Client may terminate services at any time; however, fees already paid are non-refundable unless required by law.

12. RIGHT TO CANCEL (CONSUMERS ONLY)

Where the agreement is concluded remotely, the Client may have the right to cancel within 14 days in accordance with UK consumer law.
If the Client requests services to begin within this period, they agree to pay for services delivered up to the date of cancellation.

13. FORCE MAJEURE

The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • government actions

  • regulatory changes

  • natural events

  • technical failures

14. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior discussions, representations, or agreements.
Any amendments must be made in writing.

17.FINAL CLAUSE

By engaging the Company’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full.
